Polished concrete commercial floor
Commercial Polished Concrete

Raw Concrete.
Refined.

Unlock the beauty hidden inside your existing slab. Serving commercial and industrial facilities across Southwest Virginia — from Blacksburg to Roanoke and beyond.

The Case for Polish

Why Commercial Facilities Choose Polished Concrete

Unlike coatings that sit on top of the slab and can peel, polished concrete works with your existing floor — densifying and hardening it from within. The result is a surface that only improves with age.

How It Works

The Multi-Stage Polishing Process

Each stage uses progressively finer diamond tooling to grind, hone, and polish the concrete surface to your specified sheen level.

01
construction

Grinding

Coarse metal-bond diamonds remove surface blemishes, old coatings, and high spots. Opens the concrete profile for densifier penetration.

Densifying

A lithium silicate densifier is applied to chemically harden the slab. This fills micro-pores and dramatically increases surface hardness and abrasion resistance.

Honing

Transition to resin-bond diamonds in progressively finer grits to remove scratches from previous steps and begin developing sheen and clarity.

Fine to ultra-fine resin diamonds bring the floor to its final sheen — from a matte industrial look all the way to a mirror-like high-gloss finish.

Polished Concrete vs. Epoxy Coating

Both are excellent — but polished concrete is often the right long-term choice for high-traffic commercial environments.
